Cisco, a global leader in technology, faced challenges with its forecasting process. The process was fragmented and inefficient, with individual templates and methodologies across different teams. Controllers were spending 3-4 hours on manual forecast preparation, leading to inconsistencies in data and metrics. This lack of standardization impacted accuracy and consumed valuable time.
Cisco recognized the need to centralize and standardize its forecasting process to reduce workload and improve accuracy, ultimately enabling better decision-making and resource allocation.
